I knew der was no rabbis around da place so i was expectin foxes.... but hares nd loadz of them!! First chase was brilliant must hav lsted bout 6-7 minutes! Its both mine and the dogs first time on hares but she did well and eventualy caught!! went on to see another 4 or 5 hares but only slipped tha dog on one nd she was unfortune dat da hare went over da dip as she was really gaining ground! Thanks Adam Hi Adam, Hard mouth is impossible to break on a lurcher, once they get like that, they usally stay that way. Personally, i prefer them hard mouthed, most folks prefer soft. How did she run, is her strike ect good? Frank. i suppose its saves you the bother breaking the Neck! She is a extermely quick dog and cam easliy outrun my mates saluki grey which i tink is gud for her size and what i payed for her! and because she is small she has a lovely quick turn too! She is 1 and a bit and i bought her of a smelly old git who had her tied to a block in a smelly shed! She had never been lamped before or anything so catching hares is an achivement for me anyway!!
