well honestly mate i think everyone will agree with me and say every dogs mentality is different and no one can give you a answer to your question i,ve seen over run dogs give up before 18 month old and i've seen dogs still running hares at 8/9 yo with the same drive as when it first started if you no what i mean

Not sure what you mean with your question but depending on quarry injuries etc most lurchers start to lose their edge around the 7yr mark, but as i said depends on fitness and other factors
