rabbit slayer 22
i was woundering if someone could point me in the right direction into which type of lurcher i would need for rabbiting. i dont want one that is going to be to big but fast enough to catch rabbits and have a bit of stamina too. i was told to get a whippet but ive been told that they are fragile and can run for long before they get tired. is this true? What kind of ground will you be running your dog on? Will it be mainly heather or mainly arable or grass - if grass - short pasture land or rough longer stuff? This makes a real difference to teh kind of dog you need. Quote Link to post

Guest Nightwalker
I haven't got much experience of running the type of ground you describe so I cant really advise you Quote Link to post
