Guest traceyg Posted November 4, 2008 Report Share Posted November 4, 2008 Well were do i start as my chat room gang will know Scottish lass (otherwise none as the mad fker ) came to visit me a few months ago and i said i would at some point visit her . I talked about the trip for so long i had to put my money were my mouth was and go . I have never left my family before but i needed to do this train tickets booked ,kids sorted holidays from work. I was ready :bye:lass met me at carlisle .the 3 days that followed was a laugh from the start . The first person i met was denned well he come through the door and the first words he said was hello i have got you a present balls (hawick balls ) well that broke the ice den giving me his balls .we just nattered like we all had known each other for years . Then kev was home i had heard him in the background as i chatted to lass but never met before. TOP bloke :kiss: i spoilt him rotten cuppa tea soon as he walked in the door he thought it was his birthday . So that night we went for a spot of fishing and got 1 but i also got a wet arse and kev a bollocking for letting a fish go . All the time i was there the dogs never got off my knee and on one occasion some one come to the door and the dogs jumped so a full cup of tea covered me and the window . So lass made me clean the windows :clapper: Then the big night out what a night some of lasses friends came to join us and den turned up . well if told you all the carry on i would be here all night so lets just say a good night was had by all and lass made me overcome my fear of rats ( At one point when she got the smoker out i was stood on the freezer )But it was all over to soon and back on the train i went and to say me and lass are two tuff old birds we had a tear in our eye . Well i could go on forever but think i should just say thanks to thl for the chance of meeting great mates. Good friends are hard to find but you have a few more to add to your list now.......lucky old them thats all i can say. Great picture of you and the rodent........the rat weren't bad either Only joking Lass........ Anyway........time to get ready for the return visit......be afraid.......very afraid. scottishlass 57 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Share Posted November 4, 2008 (edited) Well what can i say tracey it was a laugh a minute as soon as you stepped of the train i have been told by tg i cannot tell everyone what happened on the train . I had warned tg that phone signals were crap up here and that 02 worked best so she brought up 2 phones one on orange and one on 02 so we all started to call her tracey 2 phones which stuck for the next 2 days .Think the sillyest moment of the whole time was you on the freezer (must add the freezer is an old one out in the shed which i keep dog food i don't have rats in the hoose )I really don't know what you would have done if a rat had came flying oot.After the fishing trip we retired to granny angrys for for a wee wine tracey did get a bit confused and asked who ken was (i was like i dinnae ken what yer oon aboot )We went oot for a few vimto's on the thursday night it was halloween so the pubs had stuff up all round the bar, in the ladies bog's was a plastic rat. i knew tg loves rats so i brought it home and gave it to her as a gift :11: .Oh nearly forgot our little picnic we had in morrison's car park rolls with sausage and coleslaw,no knife,no butter, :11: just all banged together but was dead tasty There are laods more that i could write and all bore you with ,its now my turn to go back down to yorkshire and it is in the pipeline as we speak can't wait to meet up with my :friends: again granny and papa angry p.s rolfe am no rodent Edited November 4, 2008 by scottishlass Quote Link to post Share on other sites

SportingShooter 0 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Share Posted November 4, 2008 What is there to say I think that you pushed a boundary by going in the first place Tracey, leaving home and the Kids, and loved it, so I think more times away from home are to come And Lass I know doesn't mind going from home, so she be all over the place By those photos you had a superb time, and great to meet some friendly and completely mad people ( One more insane than the rest ) Great to spend time with friends, and it's a similar story for me, so I know how what you were thinking when you had to come home, but there will be more, and more exciting times to come So good on ya lass for being mad enough and kind enough to get her up there, and how mad must Tracey be to have Lass back in Yorkshire , seriously, great to spend time with good friends All thanks to THL SS Quote Link to post Share on other sites
