Timelord 0
Whilst most of you have never even held/shot or looked at one in the flesh I can understand your feelings towards me when I mention it. For the ones that have held/shot or looked at a Rapid in the flesh will completely understand where I'm coming from, and know why these guns piss all over what most people use on here Now seeing that I've owned and shot most of the guns you guys are using, I really can compare the difference between let's say an Air Arms S410/S200 right down to a fantastic springer the TX 200HC. So when I talk about caliber sub 12lb/ft .177 is the way to go and obviously the most expensive rifle you can possibly afford (back on topic!) If I was FAC then I would be looking at .20 and .22 caliber rifles so a sweeping statements from me about a top end rifle and the right caliber choice for 12lb/ft is not a dig at the finantially inferior here, it's a fact for the caliber and rifle choice I made. I've shooting air rifles since I was 7 years old so 32 years of air gunning experience should count for something I guess. Only the older people here could top those years, so for those mouthy little kids finantially challenged with the paper rounds here stop acting up with the green eye monster and save your money for your dream gun. Then you'll have real room to shout and whilst the inferior will take the piss out of you, people like me will congratulate you for working so hard to get what you want in a gun............ :censored: :censored: Quote Link to post

andy s410c 63
Well the R7 is a fantastic gun as i owned a R7 Tyrolean .22 in the mid 90's,had to go to Blackpool to buy it as in the North East i don't think the dealers were to keen on them?? or the avereage joe did'nt have the ££££.Compared to the AA410c i own now IMO yes better build quality, more shots per fill but to claim they'll piss all over most guns COME ON. The gun is as good as the person using it & the humble springer will still put rabbits away for many years to come.Just because you buy the most expensive toys in the shop does'nt mean you'll ALWAYS be successful. Timelord 0
I have no problems with my fieldcraft or my shooting ability, I was a sniper in the forces for 10 years so that must have taught me a trick or two My statement still stands and the greened eyed monster is one of the most unattractive traits in a human.....
