jazz_11 5
hi, my bsa scorpion was 177 and i have always had 177 rifles. but now i have bought myself a air arms s410, i got a really good deal on it but its 22, some of teh guys i shoot with use 22s and they say they are good but after switching from 177 it takes a fair bit of practice and target shooting to get used to the trajectory. everybody seems to prefer 177 which is why im having doubts about a 22. is it much difference and will i be able to hunt efficiently for rabbits and everything like i used to with the 177 cheers jazz Quote Link to post

andy s410c 63
All but one of the guns i have owned have been.22.I prefer the heavier impact of .22,okay the trajectory is a bit more looped but with my AA 410C .22 i,ve taken rabbits point blank to 30 yds, even a few yards past that with no probs.Practice makes perfect(well almost)....it's down to personal preference. As the saying goes"suck it & see" Quote Link to post
