Grim Reaper 1
its way to big for your gun mate With respect, Cometa has more than one scope, and does have more than one rifle also, for that matter. I believe that it is, after all, up to Cometa as to decide how he wants to use the scope, and which rifle he wants it on top of too. Having just said that, I have to wonder if anyone here would really appreciate being told what scope they should use with what rifle? No-one? . . . . . [sniff] . . . thought not . . . . I mean to say, come on boys - give the lad a chance, let him make his own decisions based upon his own experiences, and let him see the support of those decisions, eh? In Cometa's defense, he HAS already said he is thinking of a rifle upgrade, sometime in the future? This is just my opinion on it, mind. All the best, Grim. I can honestly say that i have never had that particular problem with the above scope that Liam now owns - all i can think of is that maybe the nitrogen had leaked out from your scope? On Liam's scope, the nitrogen port seal is still intact, and so the nitrogen is still in the scope - which will help prevent fogging. The lenses are also multi-coated as well. With regards to use at dusk/dawn time, if the magnification is turned right down, you can get ample light through it to enable you to take a shot. The higher the mag is turned up, the less light that can pass through the lenses, of course - but this is true of many scopes though. Liam's scope also has an illuminated reticule as well. Regards, Grim. Quote Link to post
droid 11
OK so this particular rifle/scope looks a little odd, rather out of proportion, but so what? If it does what Liam wants it to do why is that a problem? There's no requirement that a rifle needs to look 'right' to be useful. I wonder how many people that like S16's and Stealths like them because they look military, rather than because they are the best rifle for the job? Quote Link to post
