Guest JohnGalway
Not sure on the current prices but you could find a secondhand 8x56 Schmidt & Bender for around that or under Fixed power mind you, maybe you would prefer a variable. Quote Link to post

You can buy a new one for that, get the Hungarian - same glass, cheaper hands to put the lenses in the tube 8x56 Schmidt would be my choice there tbh, with the heavy ret. Or Meopta, actually, less money, quality glass. Edited October 31, 2008 by Mr_Logic Quote Link to post
Guest JohnGalway
Thought the new ones had gone over £500? Or was that just the German assembled ones? Quote Link to post

Last I saw was £420, but that was longer than a week ago, I think people are taking the p1ss quite frankly. Being cheap, you could get the new Hawke (can't remember the name). I had a look through that and it was very good indeed. if I needed a scope I'd have bought it, can be had for about £130. Quote Link to post
