Yokel Matt 918
A nice bag... how many shots what semi is that as i'm toying with the idea of getting one, does it cycle well with normal cartridges? Local Quote Link to post
Gooner 143
Good shooting Quote Link to post
Brooke 0
Good shooting i think after picking all the birds up we had around 70. the semi is a fabarm multi shot left hander, cycles from 30gram up,does not like light loads at all. two of us in the hide with one shooting and one spotting, then a swap, just over 100 cartriges between us. that was a good day its normal for us to have a ratio of 2 to 1 but we enjoy the day and the banter, and every now and again we get some birds. i have an escort thats around 3 year old now and it will cycle dust if you put it in,never misses a beat and shoots very well (think i got the good one). was out last sunday and finished the day with 1 pigeon,2 crows and a rabbit. Brooke 0
ive had 3 fabarms now,yes they are a first class gun but need looking after, make sure you clean it and they last very well, very easy to strip down and clean. i wish i had gone for the shorter barrel but am looking to see if i can get one somewhere. Local yes without a doubt go for the 26,whatever gun you get. more pointable and very hide friendly, great for bolting rabbits too. Quote Link to post
