No matie, not mine, belong to one of the lads on the camp....

What you cant see Kay, is the wind, it was absolutely freezing, the youngin was getting shelter, passed today, and it was in virtually the same place..

Oh god i will mither all night about that now, dont they have a stable ? :no:

Kay, the kids sleep under the stars doon there, so dogs and horses have no chance.. :D:D

 

Thats awfull they need some shelter its only a tiny baby :o:angry:

 

Those sort of horses are built to withstand the elements Kay, its only us looking in that think it looks mean. If it were a fine skinned thoroughbred, then you would be right, but look at the coat and feathers on that mare, and the foal knows to hunker down in the hay for some extra warmth ;) .... Her and her foal will be fine :) dont worry :)

 

PS, it is a late foal though, if that was taken recently.... ideally foals should be born end spring, early summer, so they go into the winter stronger and older :thumbs:

I know i mither about everything , silly really but its been so cold & i hate the thought that the foals outside in the cold , i think a stable would offer a little shelter
