I never used to let my earth dogs anywhere near rabbits. Nothing worse than a dog giving a mark on an earth to find rabbits at home. My dogs were only ever allowed rats, charlie. When I used to get a mark I was 100% confident of getting something that bit back ;)

hunterpoppy, the lads are all very right in what they are saying, take your time with the pup, keep well away from bunnies i dont even walk mine any were there are bunnies!!try and find a decent terrier boy to take you out and teach you the basics and you will grow in confidense with your dog.there are some decent boys on here so hopefully someone local to you will help but you must gain there full trust first!

you can do all the normal things you would do with a pup of that age. lead train toilet / kennel train. socialise the pup gain its confidence. once its inoculated the first task is more socialising outdoors more lead training basic obedience can be handy ;) then there is stock breaking. including rabbit if you so wish. plenty to get on with but most of all let it be a pup for a while :D
