Guest Nightwalker
yeah ive got a knackered 1 , switch has gone twice and now wires have bust. lamps shite In the last 30 years I've tried almost every type of lamp going and worn out or broken all of them at times. I have found the Lightforce lamps to be better and more reliable than most - but switches will wear out, bulbs will blow and wire will kink and fray - answer keep some spares about and learn to mend your lamp Quote Link to post
rifleshooter 0
i use a striker for lamping fox's and the switch started playing up and when i check'd it ,it had worked loose so all i done was skrew it back up and it's been ok since Quote Link to post
brock 11
you will probably find that the wires have come apart in the handle, its caused by stretching the cable when your lamping,my mates lamp is like it at the moment, and it has happend to my blitze. Quote Link to post
johnny4 0
me and a mate got 1 each ( 170 lightforce ) and both wiring in handles fell to bits in the first hour still use it but had to strip it down and rewire it myself build quality is shit johnny Quote Link to post
Deako 0
Fukcin' hell lads, you've got me a bit worried now!!! As a main dealer for Lightforce, I will be bringing this thread to the attention of both Deben and Lightforce Australia for their comments. Out of interest, roughly how long do the lamps last before they fall to bits? This needs to be sorted quickly or they are gonna get a shit reputation in short order. We have only been dealing with them for a few months, and touch wood, had none back yet...I can only hope the shit ones are an older batch but they still need to know about it. Quote Link to post
HBG 350
have a blitz and a striker myself, both have had to be rewired and i carry spare switches with me in the van,but you cant beat the beam of the blitz for lamping off the van, worth putting up with the problems i think. Quote Link to post
