Was the lad from Keswick called Sherman,he'd be the only lad i know who kept this type from there? The only other dog i knew of back then was called Rose and she was from Cockermouth and was owned by a lad called Wayne. White Gates as we call it is actually a village called Kings Meaburn mate, being near the Gypsum site your a handful of miles away.In reply to Jack Lee,there are plenty of folk "out there" working them mate.I'm away out with my young un tonight :ninja: as i'm sure as are many others.Cheers Andy.

ok asd i know you are working them ,as well as this other old geeser, but is that it ,

No,definately not  ,my hunting partner has two which see more than plenty of graft, there are plenty around the area where i live in Cumbria, there are also numerous in NE England which get lots of work and i know of several lads in Lancashire and the Midlands too who work them hard.A dog i bred called Growler which belonged to Vic Minshaws son sired a litter and from the resulting mating two of those pups were actually sent to Canada,so i'd hazard a guess and say some Minshaw blood to this day may still be doing what they do best even on the otherside of the world? If you see the "old geezer" as you like to call him anytime soon tell him i was asking after him  .Cheers Andy. ;)
