Blood in faeces-Colitis?

Recommended Posts

My 10 week old pup has twice passed a little spot of blood & a bit of clearish liquid at the end of a 'motion.' He's just had his first jab, and been wormed.

He seems fine in himself, and is eating fine, although his shite has been a bit runny since the jab & worming course.

I'll be keeping an eye on him, but before I take him to the vet, has anybody else had this?

After phoning the vet and describing my pups symptoms, they told me that as long as the pup was lively, eating & drinking normally, not too worry too much, and that they'd see him on Thursday when he gets his second jab, and if he takes a turn, or I'm worried, take him over.

He's fine in himself, running aroung chasing my JRT, eating like he's never had a meal, and drinking like a good 'un! I'm not worried, but I'm keeping an eye on him.

I've done some research, and it seems he has all the symptoms of Colitis.

Has anyone got any experience of this?

He's going to the vet on Thurs, but the minute anything changes with him, he'll be over there like a shot.
