bad luck continues...

anybody who read my post will know that my greyhound ripped a paw the other week, well shes fully recovered from that so last night a took her,the wee saluki dog an my friends big 3/4 lurcher out for a run..first slip an the two big dogs ended up running into each other at full speed..(ouch) took her to the vet today an he said shes fractured a few ribs an has quite a lot of bruising an has not to be walked for 2 weeks an not allowed off the lead for a further3-4 weeks...so thats me down to the young dog for a while..will the bad luck continue?????

Could be worse mate, some people have or can only have one dog. Cheers, D.

That's why I wouldn't run 2 dogs together....costly lesson for you but hopefully you and others reading this will take it onboard.

yes snmashy...................can make a real mess when two dogs collide..........especially at full pelt - seen it happen.

 

Better off single slips......you'l also avoid potential possesional related probles to mate. ( like dogs not yeilding up catch...or legging it when they've caught so no one can get a hold of it )
