.22 semi rimfires

Recommended Posts

Still labouring away with my old bolt action .22 rimfires. As I have just bought a Simmons 3.5x10x50 I am now determined to get a new rimfire (buy a scope - just got to buy a rifle - can you think of a better excuse?). Problem is I do not like the feel/balance of the CZ511. Any ideas in the same price range - but miss out the Ruger10/22

Thanks,

havent got a semi auto but if i did it would be the cz511 is more then likely the one thats going to be the best out the box rifle.

but to be honest why not just get yourself a new rifle and stick to bolt action there more reliable and accurate

I agree, semi auto's are great fun, but if you are serious the BA will serve better. For me my cheap bruno was just as accurate as my ruger 77/22, but I like nice tools :victory:

The semi autos are for fun..when you can make them work..the CZ's are not going to win any awards in the styling department but are probably the best of a bad bunch. The 10-22 is a joke in my view, but if I was in the market for a semi that would still be the one I would chose...but I'm not...stick with a bolt!!
