SNAP SHOT 194 Posted October 5, 2008 Report Share Posted October 5, 2008 Well, after a hard days work yesterday, i made a call as i had to unwind So i decided to go to my permission a bit of a ways off. so got a shower and got the kit ready, alarm set for 4 o clock, only the storm put the power off for a little while last night and low and behold my mate rings at 4:30 saying where the hell are you..... In bed was the reply... without a second thought the socks were on sliped something that resembles shoes onto my feet and before i know it i'm outside my mates house ready for the some 2 odd hours drive in the car..got stalking in on a large group of hinds to see if we could see any young prickets or bucks no joy.... waited till they made their way into the wood and proceded to stalk along the wood only to find 7 bucks in the one field a very rough field full of bracken and trees....ranged at 428 yards we decided to wait and see what happens.. no joy so along the field we travel when my mate bags a buck... We head to another bit of my permission and140 yards in the field i bag a pricket, along a tree line, a lovely large one..... We one stalk on in a see two prickets about 700 yards up the hill which we leave for again......and spotted plenty of does and calfs So a good end to the day all be it a long one as i'm only out of the shower not long ago..........................i'll sleep tonight sorry forgot to add no pics as i forgot my phone in the rush out the door....
