IMO you will never get permission by just sending out letters. You need to get out and meet the farmers, they will no doubt bore the RS off you for an hour about farming and then either say yes or no. This is the only way to do it in my opinion. Once you've got one farm approach the surrounding farms telling them that so and so lets you on.

yeh i agree with you,you will never get any permission by sending out cards

your cards most likely go straight in the bin

get out there and meet them face to face dont ask to go on with lurchers teriers ferrets guns all that same day ask them if ya can do abit of shooting or wateva then after a while ask if ya can take dogs on

ive had alot of luck doing it that way

your best asking for ferreting first,as most farmers will be reluctant to let a complete stranger wander about with a gun ,then try and bring the dogs on,you have all summer to find a bit,good luck

You will have next to no chance asking to use lurchers straight away...Your best bet is asking for ferreting like you said, but its the end of the season now, an air rifle would probably be better for summer bunny bashing...

Hi I live a few miles from Darlington I have permission for a few hundred acres. A golf course which has a lot

of rabbits and plenty of foxes. Some scrub and pasture which has more rabbits and foxes and deer and there are hare a few miles up the road. None of it is worked at the amount as I dont have a dog but I shoot. If your interested let me know, plenty of sport to be had.

alright dale i live in hpool, i av permission in 1 place in hpool n the rest of my permission is about an hour awy, any way it is not that good round hpool anyway, you might get a few good night and thats about it
