lofti 579
I WOULD KEEP HER ON LEAD YET MATE,AT LEAST FOR ANOTHER MONTH BUT TAKE HER TO OUT WATCH OTHER OLDER DOGS WORK IF YOU CAN, PERSONALLY I THINK IT DOSE THEM A WORLD OF GOOD. THEN YOU NEED TO GET SOME PUT DOWN RABBITS FOR A WHILE TO BOOST HER CONFIDENCE, WHEN YOU DO GET OUT WITH HER FOR REAL ,TRY GIVE HER TE EASYER BUNNIES TO START WITH IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. GOOD LUCK MATE ALL THE BEST WITH HER... Quote Link to post
skycat 6,174
You also need to get her out in the daytime: let her learn fieldcraft, fences, hedges, ditches: this is invaluable and a life saver when it comes to running in the dark. A dog needs to find its feet whilst it can see where it is going before you even think about running at night. Quote Link to post
