the only reason i stuck with the sako is beauce my rimmy is sako quad and i think its a great gun , and i just wanted something similar in a centrefire , up here in shetland i cant realy pick and choose the rfd only supplys ammo very rare he has guns in stock unless he getting them up for a customer. sub half inch i take that was a reloaded rounds?

No, that was factory stuff. Remington or Sako 22-250 50gr ballistic tip - it used to love them!

normally how many rounds could you get through a 22-250 barrel say 50 grainers at 3800fps .

dunno... Lots You're talking thousands even if you're being conservative. 22-250 is a field tool so it's going to last a fair while.

good thats what i want to here ,i wont be running any crazy loads so i should be fine , did you have a mod on your .22-250 ML?

Nope, it wasn't cut and the muppets at the firearms dept left the mod off the ticket. Jet Z CQB or Predator 8 should be about right. Get the Compact if you get the predator though.

my mate has the jet z on his 223 il try that first see how it does that will be purchase for next month been rather expensive month , between rifles and scopes and reloading gear . does the compact differ much from the standard apart from weight and length.
