jamie g 17 Posted September 24, 2008 Report Share Posted September 24, 2008 Hi,I was thinking to have the barrel replaced on my sako as it dosn't seem to be as accurate as it was.Is this a cost effective option.Any advice would be appreciated. cheers when you say it dosn't seem to be as accurate as it was what sort of accuracy you getting from it ? how many rounds have you put down it ? have you have it a real good clean with solvent to get all the copper out. if you have then ring round a couple of places to see what you can find for a price with fitting. i would have a 22/250 ai that would be wicked if you wanted to keep the same caliber but with more power. there is a lad on the bbs called dasherman i no he has built some cracking rifles in all different calibers and they all give super consistant accuracy. he is also very good on the price so they all have said. mite be worth a look Quote Link to post
