co2 capsules

Does anyone know if you can leave unfinished co2 capsules in the gun and if so for how long? Im thinking of pistols such as the ratbuster 2240 and Smith and Wesson 586.

get your self a walther cp88 they are really good guns i think they run at 6foot as well so full power

i used to have a smith a wesson 8 inch barrel with a silencer and 4x40 scope it weighed a ton brilliant ratter not much use for out else tho

What about leaving the co2 in?

Providing that the seals in the gun are in good order then leaving CO2 capsules in will be ok. Although I would not recommend leaving them in for very long periods of say 1-2 months. This is just an educated guess here as I have CO2 guns myself.....

Timelord. Do you use Pellgun Oil on the seals, before installing the CO2 cartridges?

 

I had problems with seals rotting and sticking to the cartridges but after using the oil they were trouble free.

I do use it from time to time and also use Crosman CO2 capsules as these have their own lube inside them keeping the seals healthy

That explains why my seal rotted & stuck when I changed to another brand on my king ratty!
