fielder 18
Does anyone know if you can leave unfinished co2 capsules in the gun and if so for how long? Im thinking of pistols such as the ratbuster 2240 and Smith and Wesson 586. Quote Link to post

Timelord 0
Providing that the seals in the gun are in good order then leaving CO2 capsules in will be ok. Although I would not recommend leaving them in for very long periods of say 1-2 months. This is just an educated guess here as I have CO2 guns myself..... Quote Link to post
fielder 18
Thanks, it sounds good advice. Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
Timelord. Do you use Pellgun Oil on the seals, before installing the CO2 cartridges? I had problems with seals rotting and sticking to the cartridges but after using the oil they were trouble free. Quote Link to post

I do use it from time to time and also use Crosman CO2 capsules as these have their own lube inside them keeping the seals healthy Quote Link to post
