small bore 0 Posted September 21, 2008 Report Share Posted September 21, 2008 Hi gizmo not sure if you can still use lead over there. Over here we can only use steel shot. W&S do not recomended you go any tighter chokes than improved cylinder. Thats the one i have stuck with, and had good results. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

If you are using lead, cylinder or 1/4, or 1/2 if you are taking them consistently at 30yds+ If you are using steel or other hard shot, 1/4. I find that withe either lead or steel, with decent cartridges, I never use more that 1/4 choke unless I am shooting at geese over deeks Good luck! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
