permission

hi all just got permission on a large farm to ferret it this year.BUT i don't usually do ferreting ,more airgun.So i'm looking to all you kind folk out there to see if anyone has any spare kit to sell me so i can get started in the wounderfull world of ferreting. come on lads dig deep and see what you can come up with my ferreting career is in your hands. cheers

if ferreting is'int your thing, your going to need more than just ferrets, ie, carrying box,spade,purse nets,longnets? to name a few, your probably better off finding an experienced ferreter near to you, and seeing if you can share permissions

 

far better to turn up with someone else, and do a good job for the farmer, which may gain you further permission

rather than try it alone, make a hash of it, and not get asked back

fair point.But i have done abit in the past , i'm not a complete novice, just move my attension to shooting more. yes i know you need more than just a ferret. Thanks for your reply i'll take it all on board.cheers

There's a lad on here called jjak,he is a lad with all the kit and nowhere to get out to.Maybe he could come and show you what you will need.
