whats the best way to go about gettin permission for ratting with ya dog? sick of only gettin one or two here and there locally, want somewhere were i can get a good amount

i'm a little bit lucky mate i get invited with some shooting pals,,,,,good luck in your quest JACK not all the dogs are mine mate, mines the white 1 with the BADGER head, only a pup though, but aitihg for the rats to come in,, next week or 2

I would just turn up at a local farm and offer your services. Farmers are always wanting to get rid of rats and theres always plenty about.

Yep, the worst they could say is no. But they probably wont. They would be stupid to turn down an offer of pest control. We have a large dairy farm and there is no way we would say no. My JRT and the herdsmans patterdale keep the rats down for us!

not that easy you do get told to feck off sometimes turn up in your sunday best offer free pest control - knock up some leafets and buisness cards leaving a contact no .. once and if you do get permission remember close gates and tidy up behind you .. you might do 20 farms before you get any luck or anyone at home or past the farm dog -- good luck

down near me you've got to turn land owners down who would like your services on they're land.

but iff you do get some land to hunt on treat it like gold. keep in touch with the land owner at all times and a bottle or two at christmas will go down well.make friends with them.

Where abouts you from friedrice , cause im Midlands to and i should be so lucky to turn down landowners , Or is it that this is just ratting with terriers ??
