8 ft deben ferret finder

my brother has just given me a ferret finder not sure which one it is but its a grey box "micro ferret finder 8ft set" written on the box packet.

 

does anyone know which size bateries go in the collars, only theres no bateries in them.

go to the poundshop mate you can buy a card with all sizes on,try the different ones in the collar cap and away to go,they are working fine on my mk1 15ft collar,and also on my mk3...just try them///

i dont know about them strips of batteries but if there anything like the others id change them constantly lol

makes me laugh, you go to the expense of putting a ferret finder on your ferret, be it mk1 or mk3, with a collar price ranging from say £30 to £45

then buy cheap chinky batteries to put in it

you may get one outing per battery and then chuck in the bin, but what happens if it dont, and it fails after a couple of hours, even worse if the fert slipped the collar, thats money down the swaney

I'd say buy decent batteries and a battery tester

Just nip into your local chemist and ask for some hearing aid batteries, they all have a colour coded tab on the back, you want the orange tab, most chemists stock duracell.

Aye go to boots buy proper batteries them change them for fresh ones come january and ive never had a problem
