hi chaps, does anyone know of any land in halstead area of essex to shoot on?

asked so many farmers and they all say no!

I doubt if your going to get very many replies to your question, you'vre already pointed out how hard it is to get permission, and your asking others as a new member with 11 posts under your belt, to share permissions

 

you may get more response once you have been a member a while, posted a few topics, answered questions in posts, even posting a few of your own pictures help, etc

 

also filling in your profile page with all information, goes a long way on here, otherwise you could just be another billy bullshitter

i'll have a go at the profile page but i'm not very up to date with using the internet and forums etc,

with regards to the permission issue, i'm unable to send off my FAC application as i havn't any land to list that i can shoot on....

Keep on trying mate. Get some posts up of your exploits with your airgun too. If people read them, and see your having a go anddoing your best they are more prone to help you. good luck

yes thats a good idea, i've managed to get some of my information on to the profile page, and whenmy brothers here later i'll get him to put some pictures up for me.

 

 

DOES ANYONE know if i don't complete the ''locations to shoot'' section on the FAC application will it be refused?

 

My gun safe's up on the wall, got my scope, bi-pod, sling, slip, deposit on the CZ 452 HMR, but then i'm stopped by the FAC!

I've replied in the other post but now I see your problem - you have 2 choices: 1) Keep trying until you find some land (this is the best route I reckon, you're bound to find something!) 2) Go down the club route, become a member and then, after a while, the club will endorse your FAC application.

 

I would keep trying for some land to shoot - that way you can send your application off straight away. Once you have one piece of land and you licence sorted you should find that other opportunities start to present themselves. Try hanging out where ever there are farmers and befriend them!

I havn't sent it off yet, still looking for land to shoot on, would love to have a few different permissions but cant find a single one as yet!!!!will keep looking and asking!
