Silencer help

My mate use's a handmade silencer £85 worth but i thought all gas powered air rifles where quiet because your not hearing the noise of the spring when you fire it ??

Don't you believe it pal!

Might I suggest you try firing a PCP outside without e silencer on it, then try again but with the silencer fitted on the rifle - I know which option you will prefer! ;)

If you fire a PCP with no silencer on it, you will find that its almost as loud as a 'powder burner' rifle - the noise from an un-silenced PCP is quite surprising, I think you'll find? lol

Regards, :)

Grim.

I'd agree. When my brother bought his s200, it didn't have a silencer. It used to make a hell of a 'pop' when it was first fired. He then bought a silencer, and now you only get a 'click' when you pull the trigger.

my fn12 only has a 12" barrel(obviously!!) and without a silencer,its unbearable!it truly is a "crack". as a hunting tool,it would be useless. :o
