hotel2zero 0 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Share Posted September 12, 2008 hi chaps, got a question for those in the know. just about to send of the application form for the FAC, all refferences sorted, gun safe bolted in, mini safe in bedroom for ammo etc, but on the application form it asks for the land you'll be shooting on. how many acres is classed as 'a large enough area'? thanks Quote Link to post

I take it you have permission from a landowner to shoot? If so, put this land down on a certificate aplication. What are you applying for? Matt Quote Link to post

Matt agree get the farmer to give you a signed permission letter saying you can shoot there. i got the guys who's land i shoot over to write me a letter saying i could shoot air rifle,shotgun,rimfire,centrefire of course i didnt no the land was past. or if it would pass for centrefire but i was pretty sure it would as it is very hilly. loads of safe shots. i got him to write it like that so if i did get my rimfires and wanted centrfire in the future [ if land is ok] they would see he doesnt mind me shooting whatever rifle i have been granted as long as the area i shoot on is passed.
