USB exchangers

Recommended Posts

I am to computers what Idi Amin was to democracy. Can someone spare a few minutes to help me?

Got one of those USB information exchange things."Data traveler 1GB". Managed to load some photo's onto it from a computer with no Internet connection. Also loaded a three page,A4 sized document that had taken me longer than I care to admit to type .

Wanted to put the lot into this computer because it is on the Internet.

Photo's loaded fine but document stayed in the Device. (hope that makes sense). Am I silly in that these devices can't transfer documents only photo's? Or more likely am i doing something wrong .Any help gratefully accepted .Thanks!

some times the file wont load if you have used word on one comp and you have office on the other or if they are the same and diffrent modles

stupid comp geeks

the file would still be there and you would still get the option to choose which application to open it with and isnt word part of office so how could you have one and not the other?

you'll have to check if it still shows in new drive, if you moved it then no, if you copyed it then yes
