nice one if you have no one to go out with as i am new to the area and the game whats the best thing to do with your dog. i am getting some books at the game fair on sat whats your thoughts cheers.

well its like me exactly the same when i began the guys were their but they ran hare so found it hard to go out for a lamp.

so as the lad said around 4 month when the legs are walkin well.

i used to just go out have a nice steady walk around land i planned to run when my first lurher was right.have a scan about .suprising what you will see not just rabbit the fox some deer and badger

given the areas you walk.and study their eyes it helps in for when your acctually up and running.practice creeping up on the sitters ,try sqeeking a fox i used to enjoy that most fasinating to watch the way they weve in and out getting a little closer .also its suprising how quick you will find things out for yourself.also the dogs getting the experience with the watching the beam .also walking around farm land your getting him her used to livestock too  and enjoy the first few months can be some of the best :victory:

i wouldnt work it until its about 10mnths- a year as their bones and muscles are not fully developed. You shouldn't need to worry about not having any working dogs to teach yours its either in them or it isnt if you show her a rabbit in the field she will chase it and kill it they have a hunting drive and with you having her retrieving you should have no bother.

All the best.

Heres my newest edition about 13 or 14 weeks aswell, shes a colliegrey x bullgrey.
