neil cooney 10,416
It's true it's not always knackers. Very few of them dig so they usually sell them on. Lads never ever buy a dog (terrier or otherwise) of a knacker. A friend of mine paid two visits to two different knackers who dig last week. Both steal terriers but both were in jail for different reasons at the time of the thefts. But jail and stealing is their traditional rights so we P.A.Y.E. people shouldn't judge them. As for settled scum who steal terrier they often steal them to dig to. And because their stealing to have good ones they often take these terriers out in front of others. What is a worry though is that I know of two cases that the victim knew where his terriers where but was too afraid to go in because the scum who had them were dangerous criminals. In one case 40 of us were going to visit the scum but the victim felt his family wouldn't be safe afterwards. Personally I'd make sure the scum was never found. Irelands full of deep lakes. neil cooney 10,416
I'm just of the phone to a digging man who knew nothing of the 2 recent terrier thefts. Yesterday knackers drove in to his yard and asked had he lurchers or terriers for sale. He told them to get the #### out of his yard before he got his gun. They drove across the road to another dog man who gave them even less of a welcome. They were seen driving by an hour later. 05 D, white Nissan Almera. Westmeath area.
