Grim Reaper 1
Hiya guys , just wondering do any of you service your own guns? As regarding servicing, i do a lot myself on my rifle - replacing o rings here and there, polishing my trigger sears, setting the trigger up etc, as well as replacing things like the filling valve and magazine indexing post and spring. I also regulary test the power with my chrono and if needed, i will adjust to maintain legallity. This is what i tend to do myself as i know what to do, and how to do it. I'm sure if you (generalization here ) get to know your rifle intimately, then you ( ) would be able to do these things yourself too. This results in me only needing AA say, every 2 years to cast an eye over it - a check up, if you like. I know that as long as I can keep the rifle in top order, AA won't be getting it in their workshop every year, like? Saves cash, saves time, and saves on lost hunting time. The postal/courier conditions or charges don't apply in my case as i take it to AA, and collect it from them when done with. If i get any major problems, i am lucky enough to know a guy who was a weapons specialist when he was in the Royal Marine Commandos (served in Borneo), who, incidently is the same guy with whom I have several sniping matches with at my house every year. When i was working with the other funeral company, he used to service all our air rifles for all us staff there. Regards, Grim. Quote Link to post

I can't see why it would be pulled... I've just got on here, at 3am, and I'm as puzzled as you are. I've been through the archives and deleted files and I can't find a trace of it. Repost it if you want. Quote Link to post
