SportingShooter 0
I cant help on the age limits as they are so up in the air at the moment. But I know that the legal maximum for carrying a knife without a good "Excuse" is a 3" blade which is capable of permanently folding. You can of course carry one for a purpose, i.e Hunting, shooting, work etc. But you would not have an excuse if you were found carrying one three days after your last hunting trip. Guest ferretlad
I was under the impression that you were not permitted to carry any sort of knife these day's regardless of its length or reason why you would have one on you.

SportingShooter 0
has to be under 4in . Well that inspires confidence as the Web Link says Three inches.
