yes p***y tip tim would be his great grandsire, on the dams line, the pup is inbred to the sire tho, who is not off tip tim. the sire has produced 1 or 2 black n tans before and the odd red but mainly blacks. so there must be lakeland in his make up

this may sound stupid dev, but what's the difference between a pat and a lake?.

there is lake blood in all pats, but more to the point there is black blood added to the lakelands. your black pats as you call them

are lakelands, just with black fur.

how do you draw the line between pats and lakes

friedrice, at last we agree well nealy, black fells are black lakelands, well the fell type ones any way some people throw anything with any thing and if its black its a patt,go any were in the lakes there all fells end of, its just for terrier shows , take the foooking great yorkshire there was more lakelands in the crossbreds than in the lakeland class, a fell is a fell end of story, let them call them what the want theres that many types no one is ever going to agree, the working terrier is a big melting pot with many ingredients thrown  in

DEV, GOING BACK OVER TEN YEARS AGO, MY MATE HAD A DOG ON TRIAL HE PAID 175 IRISH POUNDS FOR A DOG THAT LOOKED THE PART , HE GOT A TRIAL OFF THE DOG AS WELL, THE DOG WOULD NOT GO TO GROUND EVEN IF THE GAME WAS RELEASED IN FRONT OF HIM AND PUT BACK UP THE EARTH, MY MATE WAS TO RETURN THE DOG AT A GAME FAIR IN LIMERICK TO THE OWNER. WHILE HE STOOD THERE WITH THE DOG A GUY CAME OVER AND SAID THATS A FINE LOOKING PATTERDALE HE MUST BE BRED WELL, MY MATE TOLD HIM TO FXXK OFF THAT THE DOG WAS USE LESS AND WAS TO BE RETURNED TO THE GUY HE BOUGHT IT OFF, THIS GUY OFFERED TO PAY HIM HIS £175 FOR THE USE LESS TERRIER , THE DOG WAS SOLD TO THE GUY !!

A FEW YEARS WENT BY AND THERE WAS TALK THAT A FELLA CALLED BOOTH HAD A GOOD TERRIER FOR STUD. MY MATE DROVE 70 MILES TO MEET THIS GUY WHEN HIS BITCH CAME IN. WHEN HE ARRIVED AT " BOOTHS " HOUSE,, BOOTH WAS WAS STANDING THERE WITH THE DOG THAT HE SOLD HIM BACK THEN ,HE WAS NOW CALLED " TIPPERARY TIM " A FEW WORDS WERE EXCHANGED AND MY MATE LEFT BEFORE HE WOULD LOSE HIS TEMPER !!!! A TRIP FOR NOTHING !!!

BOOTHS NEVER BRED " TIPPERARY TIM " A GUY THAT BRED HIM HAD BORDER TERRIER IN HIS DOGS JUST LIKE LOTS OF LADS HAD BACK THEN. YOUNG LADS BOUGHT AND BASED THERE YARDS ON THIS DOG,

NOW DEV JUST FOR ME TO POINT OUT TO YOU THE DOG WAS BRED FROM GOOD STUFF, BUT HE JUST DID NOT MAKE THE GRADE, BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN HE CANT PRODUCE BETTER THAN HIM SELF !! AND BY THE LOOKS OF THINGS THE DOG DID PRODUCE GOOD DOGS !! BEST OF LUCK WITH THE LITTER DEV, IF THE DOG WORKS TO THE STANDARD YOU WANT I DONT THINK YOU WOULD CARE IF HE WAS " PINK" ..
