Guest ooty
cause i dont have 50 brood bitches, and all my life is spent working my dogs or planning how to improve on my next dog,is that simple enough? and my dogs dont live in the dark there whole lives in an 8 by 4 penn.its easy to take two or three dogs out a night when you have well trained dogs and exersize the rest bushing in the day with all of them and my terrier pack and thats UP 2 three litters a year.some years no pups!! No you may not have 50 brood bitches but you do seem to have a lot of dogs pass through your hands. I see from the last Hancock bashing thread you say you had a Beardie x from him that ended up at your mates. Strange choice for someone who critcises others for buying from "puppy farmers" So is this accidental mating the next step in your breeding programme or are you just trying to cash in on the reputation of bull x breeds....also you must have hundreds of mates if your continually breeding from your dogs. As i said earlier this may sound like cynicism but you appear to contradict yourself time and time again....but i spose folk can make their own minds up about you. Link to post
Guest smashygadge
well i see where your coming from with the working three dogs a night .but even so i have 5 dogs i work 2 a night occasainly, and somtimes i work the one depending on the permission i intend to work.i will state that its my half hancock thats my 100% every night dog i have 3 bitches as well and not one has been in pup yet they get walked and run everyday.but to say you can have 3 litters a year thats some doing.surely 6 months of the year you would have 3 of these dogs laid up or is it alternate dogs.i still cant see how you work all 5 during the period a dogs in whelp.me personally if i was to breed would let that dog rest after a good litter, and some time to recuparate.do you work the summer period 2 Link to post
