norfolk tumbler

Recommended Posts

They don't exist pal. There hasn't be a bob tail or anything of it's like for years. Therefore no starting point.

I'm not saying you won't find a line of lurchers that have this OLD! type in it ancestry, but it would be well diluted by now.

Think about it for a second, it doesn't sense. The gene pool would be minuscule and probably so inbred as to produce all manner of monsters.

I suggest any old mungraly lurcher with a rough coat could be passed off as a Norfolk type if the owner/breeder was less than honest and or looking to make a few quid out of such an obvious gimmick. That's not to say they won't be any good, they just ain't what they're supposed to be.

As for tumbler, who honestly wants a dog that goes bowling over every time it strikes it's prey. Poor technique! that's all that is, plus ripped and bruised muscles to boot.

No thanks.
