Rolfe 2
My good friend Bob Merrin.......dropped by for an overnight stop on his way to the CLA Gamefair.....and i managed to get some pictures of his collection of Full Barrel mole traps........some were really old but the gas pipe version is one Bob makes and uses regularly. Top right of the picture is a partially completed trap Bob has carved from Oak.....it'll last centuries according to bob. Regards Rolfe. Quote Link to post

moley 115
intresting stuff there rolf. i have seen a number of those gas pipe ones that peg and gunn made. it took me years of persuation for bob to use metal half barrel traps , now he,s gone over to them almost fully and i think he only uses the old wooden or gas pipe ones occationally, i have a couple of his gaspipe ones in my collection and have caught moles with both but it took too long to set them, nice to see traditonal ones tho, i think he also showed peggy how to make them Quote Link to post
