just a question why do threads keep getting deleted from this forum?

Usually for not sticking to the rules, petty squabbling, going way off thread, etc.

either they run their course, or start going off track to the posters question/answer/story

or they can be asked to be removed by the poster

or as already mentioned they may, or an added post may be breaking the rules

 

is their any post in particular your referring too

well locking a thread, seems silly, most members would have read it before its locked, and if its just sitting there, its taking up space that could be used by a newer article

most stuff gets deleated on my arrival home from work around 4am, so members should have read it the night before, if they hav'ent read it, then they dont know about it
