maty j 6
You did tell me M about that fella There was a lake up here I was looking at that said all bait had to be bought from them. It looked quite smart but I'm not entertaining them with rules like that! I picked up a pamflet on another place up here and it says no tiger nuts and some other nuts. That I can understand incase some mupet goes and kills a fish with nuts that arnt prepared correctly, but having to buy there bait! This place I had the leaflet for said they were stocked to capacity with trout too Don't worry about blanking JM just aslong as your enjoying it, and with them rules I don't think I would. mackem 29,522
Joe fished Bury Hills predator fisheries,if you live-bait you have to buy your fingeriling trout from them at an extortionate price BUY trout? He has a fu**ing freezer-full Quote Link to post
maty j 6
what makes me die is they dont check no ones licence but charge you fifteen pounds for two rods How much And I think a tenner for 2 rods is absolute tops! I usually pay about a fiver for 2 rods and even then I'll get the pole out when It's quiet. Quote Link to post

Its Surrey Maty, some top-rate carp waters round here, they charge a mint to fish the really good ones Saying that,we went in bushy park the other day, some guy had had a 44lb carp the week before, and its only 20-odd quid a year to fish, and your surrounded by deer as you cast your line Quote Link to post
maty j 6
I'd find somewere else if I were you. Theres usually a few lakes about if you go looking. There's one by were I course fish that has some nice carp in and the fella hardly ever comes for the money. I would be up there most nights but the fish arn't interested in anything. Probably as hardly anyone knows about it or goes there. I was thinking of trying a fly one night. Should have some fun If I hook in to one Quote Link to post

maty j 6
Sounds like a better place M and at least theres some big fish in there too. All I get surounded by is cows when I'm fishing or the farmers dog nicking my meat On another venue the owners Rottie will come and sit by you all day waiting for a few chunks of meat.
