I think £85 is a very good retail price for this gun or are you referring to the (often misheld) view that anything Chinese is a rip-off? Edited July 22, 2008 by Biffo1262 Quote Link to post
Rhodey 96
I've got an XS19 brought it about a month ago. Cost me £85 with an SMK 4x32 scope. It shoots straight and kills what I aim at and until I get some more money saved up fora PCP then it will do the job. Quote Link to post
Biffo1262 0
I've got an XS19 brought it about a month ago. Cost me £85 with an SMK 4x32 scope. It shoots straight and kills what I aim at and until I get some more money saved up fora PCP then it will do the job. Surely a point well made. SMK of late has cleaned up it's act over some of the stuff they imported a few years ago. SMK import the stuff and get the choice of the best graded items which are then assembled in this country by SMK. The finish on their guns is of a much higher standard then the regular Industry Brand guns and for that you will pay a small premium. I can only fault SMK in their provision of spares. I STILL have to either source mine from the USA ie Archer Airguns or get them from T Robbs. If you do happen to need spares there doesn't seem to be much alternative though O rings for them I get from Polymax which I find to be far of superior quality. Problem is there is a minimum order but if anyone needs any 78/79 seals I can supply them in individual sets. I make my own breech seals out of synthetic ice cube tray material. It's tough yet flexible and withstands attack from CO2. Edited July 22, 2008 by Biffo1262 Quote Link to post
