BRYAN3 29
Hi folks. YES. A lot of the rules and regulations do get on yer t1t5. However, if you are working at the roadside and wearing a visivest you are safer because the motorists see you at a distance and slow down because they think you are plod collecting stealth tax. I believe site workers now have to have tests and carry cards to show competence to opperate diggers, dumpers, grinders etc. SO how the fukk do the Albanians etc get them when they can't even speak our language? The wee baldy fat pie was nice to my face aswell then stck me in. Seriously though dont you think h&s has went mental these days?Surely i can sign a disclaimer stating if i have a fall and dont wear my harness then thats my fault.Slavering idiot was on about hard hats and safety goggles. it isnt just about your safety, what if you fell and landed on the head of a single mother of three doing her part time job to pay for the medical care of her terminaly ill mother? her mothers gonna be dead within a week on the nhs, the kids would of starved to death in a month and she'll spend the rest of her life paralyzed from the neck down because you cant be arsed wearing a harness then again the kids will probably grow up to be little robbin chav pricks, its her own fault she's single and her mothers a goner anyway, feck the harness! :clapper: lmao

Caravan Monster 323
anyway, rant over, I'm having a bad day.... be safe fellas, and tell them cock jobsworths to take a chill pilll... Sorry I got you wound up. I think we are actually singing from the same hymn sheet, just seeing the same problems from opposing angles. Over the years, I have took a lot of grief and have lost work in response to my insistence on working safely. Years ago, I was very lucky to get away with a few days in hospital rather than losing my life, thanks to an employer who was refused to pay for equipment to be maintained properly. Just bloody sick of being made to comply with h&s rules when they are pointless, or even create safety problems, and are enforced just for the sake of it.
