I've lived in middle floor flats and kept Dogs, mate. Worked twelve hour shifts. Had to pick some shit off the carpet to start with. Lost an item of furniture or two. But the Dogs were fit as f*ck and came to no mind harm for it. I'd walk through the door, snap a lead on and walk them straight out for their wander.

If ye have a house with a back garden which he's secure in? Just leave the door open.

How many on here do ye think keep a pack of lurkers, banged up in pokey little kennels, waiting for some " Chav " type smack head to come take them for a walk? Hardly the ones to advise, let alone criticize, are they?

Dog'll do fine, mate. As long as it has fresh water available. Is secure. And knows what time to expect it's dinner ;)

most dogs will not give a shite whether you are there or not ,they sleep most the time ,it's only the neurotic lap dogs that will pine or wreck the joint ,i'd say kenneled they'd be fine ,as long as they have got the essentials i.e food, water, and the exersise when you get back :victory:
