There has been a thread on here about boots and its been knocking around a while , i posted on it myself in December just after i brought some Lowa combat gtx boots which i kinda look after and dont wear all the time . Usually i wear a pair of Karrimor Boulder canvas /goretex type thing that were cheap, for buming around , and there great for hunting because if they get covered in cow shit i can hose em down and throw em in the washing machine . Now ive had em a while and the gaffer keeps telling me to chuck em away because ` you look like nobody owns you ` so i resolved to replace em today . They dragged me of to a place called soccer sports , and not being one for football , or fashion , i moaned that they wont have what i want in a place like this . Well just as i said that , the wife came round a corner and said `try these on ` handing me a pair of leather karrimor boots . I thought to myself ` these will be about £ and there aint much wrong with me old un`s ` then she said if they fit , your having them ! so i tried em on and they were very , very , comfy , you kinda forget how new boots feel . So we got to the till and i was thinking ` i need some more combat trousers , and she`s makin me buy these when me old un`s are ok , and iv`e got me lowa`s if i really need a sturdy pair on ` well i was shocked to say the least , as the girl said `Thats £35 please ` so i picked up me boots and we came home ive had em on most of the day ( indoors to get the feel of em ) and im impressed , with the price more than anything . So if your after a bargain pair of boots , there karrimor orkney II weathertight . Well done soccer sports , what a bargain

I've used these boots for a few years they are spot on i usually go through two pairs a season but for the price of them who cares.
