i am after a new silencer for my bsa super sport as my old one makes the nose even louder and i can hear a twang !

which is the best to go for ?

Silencers aren't as effective on a springer, you'll never get rid of that 'twang' with one.

your silencer with only silence the muzzle, not the noise of the spring as maltenby has pointed out.

 

i'm guessing you have just fitted a silencer????? and that it has quietend the muzzle which is now exagerating the spring noise??

yes thats [bANNED TEXT] mate but i havent had a new one just that brought a riffle off me mate and its making that sound so i wanted to sort it out

only way to get rid of spring noise is to upgrade to a gas ram.....from theoben.

 

dont think they make them anymore but the pop up from time to time s/h.

 

either that or exchange for a pcp.

Maybe the spring is a bit dry. You could try lubricating it with some moly grease.
