Could anyone reccomend a cheap scope of similar spec that is built well so that it wont fall apart!! Here is a pic, You cant see very well but the vertical thick line is all wabbley and the crosshair on the left side has broke!! Quote Link to post

LOGUNSOLO177 0
Cheers guys!! Deker what I meant to also ask is..... is there differant ways in which the crosshairs are apllied to the scope as in why did these break are they poorly made? Because I would deffo get another JSR But are the crosshairs up to a strong kick from a springer? I know there are fine on pcp's. Quote Link to post
Coney 3
I have a 6-24x50 JSR scope on my Logun s16s and have had no problem with it and many a full bag.... Regards Coney. Quote Link to post

Crosshairs can be etched into the glass, this will (should) prevent any chance of crosshairs breaking!! No idea how yours were made but it is certainly unusual for them to break!! According to JSR their scopes (the 4-16x44 Mil dot target scope I have anyway) are rated for everything from Springer to centrefire, mine is on my .223 at the moment, optically and value for money I rate it highly so far but it is early days yet! LOGUNSOLO177 0
Hey guys just to let you know I got a new scope nikon 3-9x40 its cool!! And to answer my own curiosity I opened up the broken scope to see how the crosshairs were designed, If you look at the pic its just a little metal slide. Quote Link to post
