I'm based in Port Talbot, and want to learn the ropes so that I can put food on my table! Quite familier with the Afan Valley and hills surrounding PT through my joy of walking, but totally unaware of the best places to go for rabbit (snaring, shooting, lamping) and where I am allowed to go, or who I need to speak too to get permission. I also have a 6 1/2 month wienmaraner (right choice? he was bought as a pet but needs an outlet for his abundant energy!) who I wish to work for his keep. Dont own a rifle/ airgun at present, (used to have one when I was younger), but something I will do once I know where I can legally, and with some chance of success. Would like to meet up with any local lads who would consider letting me tag along on some of their jaunts, with or without dog.Got transport, and willing to travel to learn, but would like to get to know my backyard.
