Is there a limit to how long you can youse a call bird for in a larson trap

no... as long as it has all the essentials, ie food, water, perch, shelter and is checked and refreshed atleast every 24 hours..

There is no legal limit that I am aware of but if the bird is showing obvious signs of distress, illness or other deterioration it should be humanely killed.

 

For example if it's losing lots of feathers, or just sitting listless in the bottom of the cage, or has injured itself on the wire or frame. Any signs like that and it's no longer OK to use the bird.

After they've caught one or two they need moving to a different site to be effective.
