Guest david1976
What do you all use to keep your game in whilst it's hanging? I have looked at purpose built chilled game larders however they are to expensive for me as the cheapest i have seen is nearly £800. Do you think it would be possible to keep deer hanging in a freezer with the temperature adjusted? What is the ideal temperature? I cant use my garage as it gets far to hot in the summer and the meat will go rotten. Cheers
SNAP SHOT 194
i prefer to hang my venison ina chill room, temp from 4 to 7 degree's for a week if red or about 4 days to a week if fallow.......... however if you tend to hang in shed 3 days max as i would be scared the carcass would turn in the heat......
