Just wondering if anyone has ever hear'd or has a dog off a Lurcher called "Sam the Man" , Stupidly fast big black dog. Also featured on the STRICTLY FERRETING 2 Video as a pup.

Three dogs with this name 1990 i beleive waterloo cup winner. Whippet that broke track records around yorks, and the one you are reffering to. I had a beddy lurcher reputedly off this line and she was a cracking dog, sadly killed in a tragic accident last year.

ONE WAS A WHIPPET NOW DEAD ONE A COURSING GREYHOUND THAT WON WATERLOO CUP

IN 1990 AND THE OTHER WAS A BLACK LURCHER THAT WON LOADS OF LURCHER RACES

AT HIGHGATE GHD STATDIUM NOT SURE ON ITS BREEDING THOU

The one that raced at Highgate was a Saluki, Greyhound x Greyhound, Whippet. Yes he did win alot of Lurcher races there and all over the country but for a bit of fun and because he looked like a greyhound he raced there in the evening against track greyhounds sometimes in open races allways getting 1st, 2nd or 3rd and making a lot of "top" greyhounds look silly. On the track his name was Cypress Hill.
